Yangtze River Cableway

The Yangtze River Cableway has become a representative project of the mountain city. The cableway starts from Chang'an Temple (Xinhua Road) in Yuzhong District, and crosses the Yangtze River to Shangxin Street (Longmenhao) in Nan'an District. Take the cableway and slide to the other side of the river. Along the way, you can see the nearby steel forest, the Yangtze River, and the scenery of Jiangbei Nan'an District.

By Bus

Several bus routes can take you to the vicinity of the cable car station. Buses numbered 118, 135, and 451 all stop near the Xinhua Road Cable Car Station.

By Car

If you're driving, follow the road signs to Yuzhong District. The journey takes about 1.5 hours from downtown Chongqing. There is a parking lot near the cable car station.

The Yangtze River Cable Car operates from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM from March 1 to October 31, and from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM from November 1 to February 28. A one-way ticket costs 20 Yuan, and a round-trip ticket costs 30 Yuan.
