Located on the shore of Dishui Lake in Lingang, Shanghai Planetarium officially opened to the public on July 18, 2021. The exhibition hall has a construction area of 38,000 square meters. The main building imitates the orbit of celestial bodies in a beautiful spiral shape. The circular skylight, inverted dome and dome theater form a landmark "three-body" structure, which jointly interprets the laws of celestial movement. With the vision of "shaping a complete view of the universe", the exhibition hall is divided into three parts: "Home", "Universe" and "Journey", which stimulate people's curiosity and encourage people to feel the starry sky and understand the universe.
