Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huairou District, Beijing. It is connected to Juyongguan Great Wall in the west and Gubeikou in the east. It has been a military stronghold guarding Beijing since ancient times and is known as the "Dangerous Pass". Mutianyu Great Wall has a unique architectural style and densely packed watchtowers, especially the main pass with three watchtowers standing side by side, which is rare in the Great Wall.

By Public Transport Take Subway Line 2 to Dongzhimen Station, then transfer to the Express Line 916 and get off at Huairou North Street. After that, switch to Bus H23 at Mutianyu Ring Island. Alternatively, take the tourist bus from the Dongzhimen Bus Station, which departs at 8:30 am daily, offers a direct ride to Mutianyu, and returns from the scenic area at 4 pm.
By Scenic Area Shuttle Bus The Aoyou Travel scenic area shuttle bus departs at 8 am and 10 am from the Chaoyangmen Subway Station Exit A, providing a direct and time-saving option to reach Mutianyu.

Central Route Enter from the North Checkpoint, take the enclosed 360° panoramic cable car to Watchtower No. 14, and enjoy the Great Wall's panoramic views. Walk west or east to see watchtowers and beacon towers, ending at Watchtower No. 6.
Western Route After reaching Watchtower No. 14 via cable car, head west to Hero's Slope (Watchtower No. 20). This 2.5-hour route offers stunning natural scenery and hiking opportunities.
